Casting Referrals
Disability is not a technical skill; it's a lived experience.
Are you seeking disabled performers for your production? Are you committed to making your auditions more inclusive and welcoming to artists with disabilities? From securing accessible audition spaces and providing reasonable accommodations, to understanding the history of exclusion and underrepresentation of the community and learning the current preferred terminology., I can help. As a working disabled actor for more than 20 years and an advocate for disabled artists since 2005, I have cultivated relationships with the country's leading casting offices, industry professionals and production companies across all sectors of arts and entertainment. I maintain the largest nationwide database of disabled actors, currently more than 500, and growing.
As issues of equity, diversity and inclusion take center stage across the industry, decision makers rely on my expert knowledge of and connection to the disabled acting community nationwide because they understand I am uniquely qualified to provide access to and understanding of this underrepresented community of talented artists.

Story & Script Consultation
One in four Americans identifies as having a disability -- that's approximately, 61 million, or 21% , and counting -- making disabled people the largest "minority" in the U.S. Yet we are the most underrespresented group in the entertainment industry. Just 5% of all characters on TV have disabilities and of that 5%, fewer than 2% of those characters are played by disabled performers.
Are you interested in writing disabled characters and/or storylines that include themes about disability, but aren't sure where to begin? Are you a disabled writer who needs help fleshing out ideas or reaching your target audiences? Whether you're in the writers room on a series, in pre- or post-production, in the middle of shooting a feature or just have an exciting story idea that hasn't yet made its way to the page, I can help you realize your vision. From casting to rehearsal and on-set consulting to marketing, I'll help give you the knowledge and tools you need to create authentic characters and storylines that accurately represent the lived experience of disabled people, I've consulted across all platforms including Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional and university theatre, Network, cable and SVOD, major studio and independent features and shorts, commericials and print.
I provide detailed notes on messaging, content, technical accuracy, and consistency; write synopses, evaluations; assist with pitches, as well as copy editing or proofreading as needed.
